Well-known Telugu film director and former Union Minister of State for Coal Dasari Narayana Rao died here on Tuesday after prolonged illness. He was 75.
Rao, who holds the Guinness Book of Records for coordinating 125 movies in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi,died at a private hospital due to health complications inconveniences. The National Award-winning chief had created 50 different movies.
He had been in and out of doctor’s facility for a long while and had experienced surgery for contamination in the lungs and kidneys prior this year.
Rao, who was a Minister in the Council of Ministers headed by Manmohan Singh, was additionally chargesheeted in the coal trick.
Some of his well known movies incorporate “Premabhishekam”, “Megha Sandesham”, “Osey Ramulamma” and “Goodbye Manavadu”. Rao had wanted to make a biopic on late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa.
