Srinagar: A top Lashkar-e-Taiba activist, required in the killing of six policemen in the time of June, was among the four ultras caught in a security powers’ cordon in Anantnag locale of Kashmir where a regular citizen lady kicked the bucket in crossfire on Saturday, police said.
“Bashir Lakshari and three fear based oppressors are caught in the security powers cordon in town Brenti in Anantnag. The caught ultras were included in the executing of a SHO and five other policemen in Achabal region of south Kashmir on June 16,” a police representative said.
Tahira, 44, managed wounds amid the experience and was hurried to the region healing center, where she kicked the bucket later, authorities said.
Security strengths propelled a cordon-and-inquiry operation in Brenti-Batpora in Anantnag at an opportune time Saturday after they got data about the nearness of the aggressors, a police official said.
He said the inquiry operation transformed into an experience after the aggressors opened fire on the security strengths.
A police representative said the activists were utilizing regular citizens as human shields and that endeavors were on to safeguard them. The operation is still on.
On June 16, SHO Feroz Ahmed and five other policemen were executed on the edges of Anantnag region.
